Renee works with individuals 12+ as they navigate the ebbs and flows of life. Renee believes in the genuine power each individual holds to create a life where they can be their full selves. Her sessions focus on a person-center approach using narrative therapy as she strongly believes that we are each the storyteller of our own lives. Renee’s area of focus includes anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and specifically religious trauma.

 

Renee is a Licensed Social Worker and holds a Master’s of Social Work degree from Wichita State University. “As a therapist, it is important to me to show up as my full self. In sessions I strive to sit with you as you uncover what may be holding you back from showing up in life as your full self. I believe that with the right tending each individual has the power within them to grow, heal, and transform.”

 

Renee hopes to provide a space that is open and safe for all. You are invited to come as you are and know that you will be met with a listening ear, a warm smile, and space to cry or laugh…or possibly a combination of both. All are welcome.

 

In her free time Renee enjoys exploring mountain trails, watching and performing musical theater, and cuddling and learning the unspoken language of her two farm cats.
