Reyna Rodriguez Gillenwater

LMSW

Reyna is passionate about supporting individuals (ages 12+) as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, cultural differences, and spiritual concerns. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wichita State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Tennessee, which provide a strong foundation for tailoring care strategies and utilizing evidence-based interventions to meet each client’s unique needs.

Reyna is currently engaged in the 3-year Somatic Experiencing (SE) training process and enjoys integrating somatic techniques into her therapeutic work, helping clients reconnect with safety and presence in their bodies.

“I believe authentic change can happen with genuine connection. I aim to approach each person with gentleness and empathy, recognizing the need for individualized care. My work is collaborative and centered on creating emotional safety and meaningful connections. I consider it a privilege to support others through their journeys of pain, healing, and personal growth, helping them gain a deeper understanding of themselves and feel more connected to those around them.”

Outside of her practice, Reyna is a nature enthusiast who loves traveling across the country, hiking in national parks, and immersing herself in the outdoors. She also enjoys creating and collecting artwork in her free time.
